Job Description

Dhani Loans and Services is hiring Collection Officers in Williamnagar. This role involves field-based work in collection and recovery management for personal loans. Candidates interested in BFSI jobs and willing to work in field collections are encouraged to apply.

Position: Collection Officer – After Lead
Department: Collection and Recovery Management
Product: Personal Loan
Work Location: Williamnagar, Meghalaya (Nearby areas assigned as available)

Key Responsibilities

Manage assigned debt collections as per company policies.
Track and collect overdue payments within the assigned Williamnagar territory.
Conduct regular branch visits to monitor daily collections.
Maintain daily collection dashboards and report to senior management.
Address and resolve client issues by coordinating with relevant departments.
Effectively handle customer/merchant complaints.

Qualifications

Experience: 0-3 years in collections, preferably with consumer, small business, or gold loans.
Education: Minimum of Graduation in any field (Postgraduates are welcome).
Local Knowledge: Native or local to , Williamnagar, Meghalaya.
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office and email communication.

Skills and Competencies

Strong communication skills in Hindi, Khasi, and English.
Knowledge of the collection process and the Williamnagar, Meghalaya road network.
Strong command of authority combined with humility and sincerity.
High enthusiasm, diligence, and commitment for long-term work.
Excellent convincing and negotiation skills.
Professional approach to customer interactions.
Awareness of Collection Code of Conduct and local geography.
Possession of a personal vehicle.
